Custom fields can be used to place additional queries in the Contact address form in the Personal data step of the participation registration (Fig. 1). These additional fields are displayed to every person who goes through the registration process, regardless of which participation-type has been selected.
The answers that have been given can be displayed on the booking confirmation, if required. The corresponding substitutes must be used for this. More information can be found in the Set up booking confirmation chapter.
The custom fields created for this form can also be displayed on other forms in parallel, e.g. when editing personal data in C3. This allows the person to subsequently change the information.
The custom fields can only be inserted in the area between the last standard field of the contact address (country) and the separate billing address. Individual additions between standard fields are not possible.
The information provided via additional fields can be viewed and processed at the following locations:
In the personal data record - if custom fields are available, these can be viewed in the Additional fields tab in the persons' data (Fig. 2).
In the booking export - in all Excel exports (except Excel short list for bulk mail) from the booking overview, a column is included for each answer option of the custom fields (Fig. 3).
Output on the booking confirmation for attendees (Fig. 4).
There is no filter option for custom fields in backend overviews. If, for example, all persons who are interested in local child care in an additional query are to be contacted, the recipient list must first be filtered in an Excel export from the booking overview.
