Under certain circumstances, it can be useful to make certain offers only bookable for a limited period of time. In Converia, it is possible to automatically hide offers or events as soon as the booking period has expired, provided that it has been specified in the configuration that expired events are no longer displayed.
Hide expired events: Set the Hide expired events option to Yes.
Call up linked response: Call up and edit the linked response in the extended package configuration in the package.
Adjust end date: Use the edit function to set the desired end date (Fig. 2).
Save
Result: After the end date has expired, the offer package is displayed as booked out (Fig. 3)
When an offer package is created, a response is generally created automatically and linked to the offer package. The start and end dates are generally based on the specified event period.
A social evening should only be bookable up to two weeks before the event, as the final number of participants must be sent to the caterer or other service provider at this time.
Hotel bookings should only be possible up to a certain point in time, as the contingents in the hotels only have to be reserved up to this point in time and then confirmed.
