It can happen that people do not complete the registration process in the front end, e.g. because the desired payment method is not provided. In these cases, it may be necessary to complete the booking in the backend.
Incomplete bookings can be filtered using the Status filter in the booking overview. Incomplete bookings can quickly add up, as these are created as soon as a booking process is started - i.e. also during tests or, for example, by people who only want to look at the offers first.
Depending on the point at which the registration was canceled, the booking provides different amounts of information:
If the booking was canceled after confirming the offer selection (only visible in the booking details), the overview of all incomplete bookings can at least be searched for the offer packages that participants have placed in the shopping cart (in the search mask: Booking contains all/one of the selected packages > [Selection]). In many cases, it also makes more sense to create a new manual booking.
If the booking was canceled after entering the personal data (Fig. 1, point 2), you can also search directly for the name. In this case, proceed as described below.
The booking numbers are assigned consecutively. In comparison with the valid bookings that have a creation date, it is therefore possible to estimate approximately when the booking took place.
The next step is to call up the booking details of the booking you are looking for.
If necessary, adjust the badge group.
Then use the Invoice -> Edit button to switch to the invoice details (Fig. 3, point 2) and check the payment method and address data for correctness (Fig. 3, points 1 & 2).
The invoice has not yet been created at this stage. A preview is therefore not available.
If all the details are correct, the booking can be finalized via Finalize booking/invoice (Fig. 2/3, point 3).
After successful completion, the message Successfully finalized appears. It is no longer necessary to update the invoice.
If the booking was canceled before the offer selection was confirmed (Fig. 1, point 1), neither offers nor names are in the system. In this case, it makes little sense to complete an incomplete booking. Alternatively, a if individual participants do not book again themselves via the front end.
Are the booking options complete? If not, the desired booking options (Fig. 2, point 1). More information can be found .
