Price groups (types of participation)

Configuration -> Attendee Registration -> Offer Wizard

In Converia, the different types of participants are referred to as price groups. Different offer prices or offers can be configured for each price group. In the frontend, the participation type (= price group, Fig. 1) is selected at the start of the booking process and the bookable options are then displayed in the offer overview.

New price groups are created in the offer wizard within an offer:

  • New price group button (Fig. 2)

  • Enter the name of the price group in the field (Fig. 2).

  • Specify whether the price group should be visible in the frontend

    • Visible price groups are displayed in the selection in the registration process for all persons.

    • Non-visible price groups can either be used for internal purposes and backend bookings or activated via voucher codes in the frontend.

  • Determine whether the price group is subject to verification.

    • For price groups requiring proof of membership, an upload area is available after registration where proof of membership/student status can be stored.

The price table within the offers is made up of price groups and the registration periods and only needs to be created once. The structure is adopted for all other offers.
