Mandatory information (General terms and conditions, Imprint, Privacy policy)
The following sub-chapters serve as a quick guide to creating & linking important content, such as terms and conditions, imprint or privacy policy. More detailed information on page structure and articles can be found in the section Your own Converia website.
For express and ticketing customers and generally when a new event is created on the basis of the copy template, the basic structure including links is usually already fully created, so that only conference-specific content in articles needs to be added and, if necessary, the mandatory queries activated .
In Germany, there are clear legal requirements. An imprint (Impressum) and a privacy policy are mandatory for most websites. Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) are not obligatory but are useful and legally advantageous if contracts are concluded with customers. These legal requirements for an imprint, privacy policy, and, where applicable, Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) are largely comparable across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), though there are some country-specific differences.
Due to these regional differences, we recommend that you take responsibility to inform yourself about the applicable regulations in your country or seek legal advice to ensure that your website complies with legal requirements.
