If the participant has successfully completed the booking process, they will usually receive a booking confirmation. This document and the associated e-mail can be configured under the “Booking confirmation” tab.
First, select the desired PDF template. This must already have been created; how to do this is explained here.
When the document is generated, the placeholders are replaced with the standard information:
Conference name
Date of event
Name of person attending.
If desired, these can be supplemented or exchanged by further replacements. The same applies to the text below the booking confirmation. Between the text above and the text below, the system automatically pulls the participant's booking data if a ticket is not used.
Converia Support can also set up:
Whether answers to questions should be given (example: question: “Are there any restrictions regarding meals?” answer: vegetarian)
And how many text characters should appear per answer on the booking confirmation
Links for vouchers can also be implemented in the booking confirmation email, e.g. for a free companion. To do this, it is necessary to define at least one voucher category and to make sure it is valid (check the expiry date!). This will then be listed in the replacement list.
Finally, the conditions under which a booking confirmation is generated are defined:
Generate and send automatically upon successful registration.
The booking confirmation is sent only after the payment has been entered in the system. What needs to be considered in this context is explained here.
The system does not generate a booking confirmation. Nevertheless, you can configure an e-mail to inform the participant that the registration process has been successfully completed. Further information.
As with only for paid invoice, the booking confirmation is sent later. You also define the time of sending independently of the payment status. It can be released individually or as a mass action. Further information.
