# Page templates

Templates can be used to define how individual **pages** should be **structured in the frontend**. Templates ensure a uniform design and structure across all pages. The *Frontend1Column,* *Frontend2Columns* and *Frontend3Columns* templates are available for pages on which articles are to be used. There are also other templates, such as *FrontendModule* or *FrontendSchedule*, which are reserved for different Converia modules and are not suitable for pages with articles.

Regardless of which page template is selected, from a certain size of the browser window, usually in the mobile view, the page content is **only displayed in a single column** so that the content remains clear and easy to read (Fig. 2/3).

If a multi-column template has been selected, **the information in the outer columns is moved to the header** and can be accessed there via the respective buttons (e.g. for contact, menu and login).

## Single-column view

If the *Frontend1Column* template is selected, page content is displayed across the entire width of the browser window.

## Two-column view

If the *Frontend2Columns* page template is selected, the page in the frontend has two columns. The left-hand column contains the menu, the entry buttons for active modules and the login box. The page content is displayed to the right.

## Three-column view

If the *Frontend3Columns* page template is selected, the page in the frontend is divided into 3 columns. The left-hand column contains the menu, the entry buttons for active modules and the login box. The page content is displayed in the middle column. On the right-hand side, the [contact box is displayed with the general conference contact](https://manual.converia.de/en/general/a-new-event-in-converia/central-settings-and-individualization/contact-information/general-contact).

## Other templates for Converia modules

The following page templates are also available in Converia:

* *FrontendSchedule* - template for the conference planner
* *FrontendOverview* - template for the conference overview of an installation
* *FrontendModule* - template for all Converia modules except participant registration
* *FrontendModuleFullWidth* - Template for participant registration
* *404* - Template for the error page 404

Please note that these templates **can only be used in combination with certain module types (page content)**. They are **not** suitable for article content.
