Special case: Free participation as a payment method

Configuration -> Attendee Registration -> Methods of payment

A free payment method with the payment processor Free participation must be stored in the system (Fig. 1) so that free bookings can be entered and completed and it is possible to filter for free bookings/invoices (Fig. 2).

The payment method Free participation is already preconfigured and should not be changed or deactivated. This payment method is not visible in the frontend for chargeable bookings and is automatically selected for free bookings.
