Converia allows you to create surveys, e.g. to get feedback for an event. To create a new survey, click on New Survey. In the settings, you can specify from when to when and whether the survey should be active.
The survey is managed in the system under this name. The internal name must not contain any special characters or spaces.
The name of the survey for output in the frontend.
Optional introductory text/description for the survey, this is displayed below the heading in the frontend.
Start date of the survey
End date of the survey.
After the general information of the survey has been defined, new pages can be created and filled with content.
Specify the internal designation.
The name of the survey for output at the frontend.
Name of the page in the navigation.
Optional description.
The pages can now be filled with a wide variety of input fields. In addition to classic scales, checkboxes or free text fields are also available.
Text (single line): Generates a single-line text field, e.g. for querying the age.
Radio: This can be used to create selection fields from which the participant can only select one from a group.
Checkbox: This can be used to create selection fields from which the participant can select several from a group.
Text (multiline): Generates a multiline text input field for the participant to enter a free text.
Select: Generates a drop-down menu from which the survey participant can select an option.
Scale: Generates a scale on which the participant can make a rating.
Paragraph: This field type can be used to place intermediate texts without the option of entering text for the survey participants.
nextStepWizzard: is only needed to create the final page.
To create a new field, proceed as follows (Fig. 3):
Select the appropriate/desired field type.
Enter a unique identifier for the field.
Enter a title for the field for the frontend and decide whether the field should be mandatory.
Specify the order on the page.
In this example, we use a five-point scale. For this scale, the ends (Fig. 3, points 5/6) of the scale can be labeled (e.g. not very good - very good). Subsequently, the individual answer options can be configured in more detail (Fig. 3, point 7). For example, you can give them different names, change the order or adjust the option values.
When all survey points, the associated questions and answer options have been set up, the final page must be created. No further questions may be set up on the final page. The field type for the final page must be “nextStepWizzard”.
Finally, you can specify in the visibility rights whether certain conditions must be met for the survey to be visible to a participant. The following options are available:
Only with login: The survey is only visible to people who have login details for the conference.
Only one round: The survey can only be completed once, a second round is not possible.
Only with a valid booking: The survey is only visible to participants with a valid booking.
Survey possible through group administrator: If group bookings are possible for the conference, the group administrator could complete the survey for the people booked through him.
