1. Conference name

The Conference name is displayed in many places in the system and can only be stored or changed centrally here. The conference name can be found here, among other places:

  • is inserted by placeholders in mail texts and footers and the standard texts of documents

  • appears in the frontend in the tab description and in the C3 (see Fig. 2)

2. Abbreviation

The abbreviation can also be used via placeholders in emails and documents. In addition, the conference abbreviation is always used as the sender name for emails sent from Converia.

3. Conference start and end

Conference start and end dates are inserted via placeholders in emails and documents. In addition, the event period affects the number of days in the conference planner and the display of the event in the conference overview.

If the conference has expired according to the event date, modules such as paper submission and attendee registration can no longer be used in the frontend.

4. Location & Country of the event

The event location and country can be added via placeholders on the invoice only.

The event country also affects whether or not a country is displayed in the invoice address of participants: If the country of the invoice recipient differs from the country in which the event takes place, it will be displayed on the invoice. If the billing address and event location are in the same country, this will not be shown on the invoice.
