Checklist: Have you considered everything before starting the registration?

Before the go-ahead is given for registration, it should be thoroughly checked once again. An error in the configuration of the registration often not only causes a lot of work afterwards, but can also leave a bad impression on the attendees.

We therefore recommend carrying out test bookings and completing them in full so that the mail dispatch and the contents of the documents can also be checked carefully.

As test bookings already generate real invoices and bookings, we recommend clearly marking them as tests by using the appropriate data, e.g. “Max Mustermann, test company”.

To make testing easier, we have put together a checklist:

  • Are all mandatory details there and correctly linked (actionnames) - imprint, terms and conditions, privacy policy?

  • Are the email texts (booking confirmation/invoiceemail) correct?

  • Are the contents of the booking-confirmation and invoice complete and correct?

  • Are all offers correctly priced/described in the offer overview?

  • Are the combination and selection options in the registration-form correct? Please note:

    • Program items taking place at the same time

    • Settings for mandatory selection and multiple selection of certain offers

    • Are all offers visible for the respective participant-type?

  • Do the voucher codes work as desired?

  • Are all payment methods displayed correctly and are they activated?

  • Have all quotas been entered correctly (don't forget to clean up the answers after setting them up!)

  • Have the cancellation modalities been entered correctly?

  • Is the registration period correctly dated? Is the registration active?

  • Are the texts on the website correct and up-to-date as well?
