Structured data

CMS -> Navigation -> Structured data

For the presentation of grouped data, e.g. lists of speakers or sponsors with images and information, structured data provides an option that allows the data to be structured in the backend and displayed in a standardized format in the frontend without having to resort to tables.

Add new category

  • Add a new category (Fig. 1) - The category corresponds to the article to be linked in the page structure, the category name is used as the heading (H2).

  • Select the category type Speakers or Sponsors (Fig. 3). The difference lies in the information provided and the display in the frontend:

    • Speakers - first name, surname, institution, image, description (display of image & details)

    • Sponsors - name, logo, description (display of logo & details)

Add / edit data

  • As soon as the category has been added, individual datasets (sponsors or speakers) can be added using the Add/edit data button. The datasets are displayed as tiles in the frontend (Fig. 6; Fig. 7).

  • The order of the datasets can be defined in the overview by dragging and dropping the individual datasets to the desired position using the blue bar symbol (Fig. 2).

Integrate structured data into the page

The categories of the structured data must then be linked in the page structure - similar to the articles.

  • Create a new page in a folder

  • Create a structured data module and select the module content (Fig. 6)
