# Custom fields for all persons Custom fields can be used to place additional queries in the *Contact address* form in the *Personal data* step of the participation registration (Fig. 1). These additional fields are **displayed to every person** who goes through the registration process, regardless of which participation-type has been selected.

## Further information on custom fields in the registration form * The answers that have been given can be **displayed on the booking confirmation,** if required. The corresponding substitutes must be used for this. More information can be found in the [Set up booking confirmation](https://manual.converia.de/en/attendees/setting-up-the-registration/create-templates-for-invoice-booking-participation-and-payment-confirmation/set-up-booking-confirmation) chapter. * The custom fields created for this form can also be **displayed on other forms in parallel**, e.g. when editing personal data in [C3](https://manual.converia.de/en/attendees/setting-up-the-registration/basic-setup-of-the-registration/c3-the-login-area-for-attendees). This allows the person to **subsequently change** the **information.** * The custom fields can **only** be inserted in the area between the last standard field of the contact address (country) and the separate billing address**.** Individual **additions between standard fields are not possible.** ## Management of collected data from custom fields in the backend The information provided via additional fields can be viewed and processed at the following locations: 1. In the **personal data record** - if custom fields are available, these can be viewed in the *Additional fields* tab in the persons' data (Fig. 2).

2. In the **booking export** - in all Excel exports (except *Excel short list for bulk mail)* from the booking overview, a column is included for each answer option of the custom fields (Fig. 3).

3. Output on the booking confirmation for attendees (Fig. 4).

{% hint style="info" %} There is **no filter option** for custom fields **in backend overviews**.
