In the RTE element, the content can be edited in individual language tabs. All other article types must be created individually for each language.
The text editor in the RTE element has several tabs: Standard and one for each available language (Fig. 1).
If the conference is multilingual, the content can be entered in the respective tab. The content displayed in the front end automatically uses the content in the respective subportal language.
The standard tab serves as a fallback if one of the language tabs is empty. This means that if, for example, the languages German and English are active for the conference in the frontend, but there is no content in the English language tab, the content from the Standard tab is automatically used.
If the conference is monolingual, all article content can be added to the Standard tab.
The page in the frontend is empty, although the content from the standard tab should be displayed?
Please note that even a single HTML element or a space is considered content in a language tab. So if an empty page is displayed in the frontend, although text has been stored in the Standard tab, you must check in the language tabs via Tools > Source code whether there is actually no content.
If the name of the tab is bolded (e.g. EN instead of EN), this is a sign that content is stored there (Fig. 1).
Another cause could be an incorrect or missing link in the page structure.
