In the media browser, images, documents and templates can be saved and managed on the storage space provided by Converia.
The media browser is available at all points in the backend where files such as header graphics, document templates or contributions are uploaded and managed.
Files should always be saved in the folder of the respective conference. When accessing multiple conferences, the corresponding conference must be selected in the folder structure on the left-hand side.
Some folders are created automatically and are protected, such as the invoices folder for invoice documents. No other files should be stored in these folders as they may not be displayed in the frontend.
If there are many files, an additional folder can be created using the New folder button in order to better organize the data.
When a folder is deleted, all the files it contains are also deleted.
The upload of files from a computer is started as soon as Open is clicked in the local file browser.
To transfer or delete files, the file must first be selected so that it is framed in blue. Only then can the desired action be carried out (see selected element in Fig. 1).
If a file from a self-created public folder is opened by double-clicking, the web browser displays a publicly accessible URL. This URL can be used directly as a link in articles or e-mails.
However, files from protected folders (such as invoices, abstracts or confirmations of participation) are only available for direct download and do not have their own URL.
