Check-In on site

Administration -> Registration -> Check-In

General

Converia can also be used on site to check in attendees. Check-in can be carried out either manually or using connected USB scanners.

Example setup: Check-in at the conference entrance

Two check-in counters are set up at the entrance to the conference area. Each counter is equipped with a notebook and a connected USB scanner. The check-in staff have the appropriate authorisations in the Converia backend and operate the scanners to check in attendees using the barcodes printed on the tickets or QR codes on the name badges.

With each scan, the person's check-in status is immediately updated in the system. At the same time, relevant additional information is displayed in the backend – for example, payment status or missing documentation. This allows staff to respond directly and address attendees specifically if there are any outstanding issues.

Preconfigured USB scanners can be rented from Converia.
